And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for YY Elohim had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.

Therefore YY Elohim sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from Elohim:

Who giveth rain upon the earth, and sendeth waters upon the fields:

When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.

And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Kayin was a tiller of the ground.

Are there any among the vanities of the Gentiles that can cause rain? or can the heavens give showers? art not thou he, O YY our Elohim? therefore we will wait upon thee: for thou hast made all these things.

He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.

He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;

That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.

He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.

When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.
