The Horims also dwelt in Seir beforetime; but the children of Esav succeeded them, when they had destroyed them from before them, and dwelt in their stead; as Yisrael did unto the land of his possession, which YY gave unto them.

And he dwelt in the wilderness of Paran: and his mother took him a wife out of the land of Egypt.

Thus dwelt Esav in mount Seir: Esav is Edom.

And the angel of YY found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur.

And Yaakov sent messengers before him to Esav his brother unto the land of Seir, the country of Edom.

And they arose out of Midian, and came to Paran: and they took men with them out of Paran, and they came to Egypt, unto Pharaoh king of Egypt; which gave him an house, and appointed him victuals, and gave him land.
