Deuteronomy 9:3

Understand therefore this day, that YY thy Elohim is he which goeth over before thee; as a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thy face: so shalt thou drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as YY hath said unto thee.

For YY thy Elohim is a consuming fire, even a jealous Elohim.

For our Elohim is a consuming fire.

What shall we then say to these things? If Elohim be for us, who can be against us?

For YY your Elohim is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.

Behold, the ark of the covenant of YY of all the earth passeth over before you into Yarden.

The breaker is come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it: and their king shall pass before them, and YY on the head of them.

In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not Elohim, and that obey not the good news of our Lord Y'shuw`a HaMoshiach:

YY your Elohim which goeth before you, he shall fight for you, according to all that he did for you in Egypt before your eyes;

And it came to pass, when the people removed from their tents, to pass over Yarden, and the kohanim bearing the ark of the covenant before the people;

Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of YY is.

And when he had called all the people unto him, he said unto them, Hearken unto me every one of you, and understand:

And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:

The sinners in TZiyon are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?

For Tophet is ordained of old; yea, for the king it is prepared; he hath made it deep and large: the pile thereof is fire and much wood; the breath of YY , like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle it.

And YY shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones.

Behold, the name of YY cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire:

Fury is not in me: who would set the briers and tshofars against me in battle? I would go through them, I would burn them together.

Understand therefore, that YY thy Elohim giveth thee not this good land to possess it for thy righteousness; for thou art a stiffnecked people.

And thou shalt consume all the people which YY thy Elohim shall deliver thee; thine eye shall have no pity upon them: neither shalt thou serve their elohim; for that will be a snare unto thee.

And the sight of the glory of YY was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Yisrael.

And Dvorah said unto Barak, Up; for this is the day in which YY hath delivered Sisra into thine hand: is not YY gone out before thee? So Barak went down from mount Tavor, and ten thousand men after him.

For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittitim, and the Perizzites, and the Kenaanim, the Hivi, and the Yvusis: and I will cut them off.

And YY thy Elohim will put out those nations before thee by little and little: thou mayest not consume them at once, lest the beasts of the field increase upon thee.

When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for YY thy Elohim is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

And YY delivered them into the hand of Yisrael, who smote them, and chased them unto great Zidon, and unto Misrephothmaim, and unto the valley of Mizpeh eastward; and they smote them, until they left them none remaining.

And all the cities of those kings, and all the kings of them, did Y'howshu`a take, and smote them with the edge of the sword, and he utterly destroyed them, as Moshe the servant of YY Commanded.

Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof YY spake in that day; for thou heardest in that day how the Anakims were there, and that the cities were great and fenced: if so be YY will be with me, then I shall be able to drive them out, as YY said.
