For thou art an holy people unto YY thy Elohim: YY thy Elohim hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal kehunnath, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

And they shall be mine, saith YY -TZvaot, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.

Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of tzdukim.

And to make thee high above all nations which he hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honour; and that thou mayest be an holy people unto YY thy Elohim, as he hath spoken.

Yisrael was holiness unto YY , and the firstfruits of his increase: all that devour him shall offend; evil shall come upon them, saith YY .

You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.

gather my holy ones together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.

And spared not the old world, but saved Noach the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ung-dly;

YY shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep The Commandments of YY thy Elohim, and walk in his ways.

YY knoweth how to deliver the g-dly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

The Elohim of this people of Yisrael chose our fathers, and exalted the people when they dwelt as strangers in the land of Egypt, and with an high arm brought he them out of it.

Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the Torah, and the service of Elohim, and the promises;

And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you an Elohim: and ye shall know that I am YY your Elohim, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.

But YY hath taken you, and brought you forth out of the iron furnace, even out of Egypt, to be unto him a people of inheritance, as ye are this day.

Ye shall not eat of anything that dieth of itself: thou shalt give it unto the stranger that is in thy gates, that he may eat it; or thou mayest sell it unto an alien: for thou art an holy people unto YY thy Elohim. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.

And YY hath avouched thee this day to be his peculiar people, as he hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all His Commandments;

Yea, he loved the people; all his holy ones are in thy hand: and they sat down at thy feet; every one shall receive of thy words.

And thy servant is in the midst of thy people which thou hast chosen, a great people, that cannot be numbered nor counted for multitude.

But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return, and shall be eaten: as a teil tree, and as an oak, whose substance is in them, when they cast their leaves: so the holy seed shall be the substance thereof.

Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away.

And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of YY : and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.

But I have said unto you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land that floweth with milk and honey: I am YY your Elohim, which have separated you from other people.

And ye shall be holy unto me: for I YY am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.

And because he loved thy fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and brought thee out in his sight with his mighty power out of Egypt;

For YY will not forsake his people for his great name's sake: because it hath pleased YY to make you his people.

For they have taken of their daughters for themselves, and for their sons: so that the holy seed have mingled themselves with the people of those lands: yea, the hand of the princes and rulers hath been chief in this trespass.

Yhudah was his sanctuary, and Yisrael his dominion.

For YY hath chosen Yaakov unto himself, and Yisrael for his peculiar treasure.

But thou, Yisrael, art my servant, Yaakov whom I have chosen, the seed of Avraham my friend.

And say unto them, Thus saith YY Elohim; In the day when I chose Yisrael, and lifted up mine hand unto the seed of the house of Yaakov, and made myself known unto them in the land of Egypt, when I lifted up mine hand unto them, saying, I am YY your Elohim;
