And when YY thy Elohim shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:

And ye shall make no league with the inhabitants of this land; ye shall throw down their altars: but ye have not obeyed my voice: why have ye done this?

And the spies saw a man come forth out of the city, and they said unto him, Shew us, we pray thee, the entrance into the city, and we will shew thee mercy.

And YY delivered it also, and the king thereof, into the hand of Yisrael; and he smote it with the edge of the sword, and all the souls that were therein; he let none remain in it; but did unto the king thereof as he did unto the king of Yericho.

And the men answered her, Our life for yours, if ye utter not this our business. And it shall be, when YY hath given us the land, that we will deal kindly and truly with thee.

For YY thy Elohim walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy: that he see no unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee.

And the king called the Givonites, and said unto them; (now the Givonites were not of the children of Yisrael, but of the remnant of the Amorites; and the children of Yisrael had sworn unto them: and Saul sought to slay them in his zeal to the children of Yisrael and Yhudah.)

And Yhudah went up; and YY delivered the Kenaanim and the Perizzites into their hand: and they slew of them in Bezek ten thousand men.

And YY gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; YY delivered all their enemies into their hand.

And all these kings and their land did Y'howshu`a take at one time, because YY Elohim of Yisrael fought for Yisrael.

So Y'howshu`a smote all the country of the hills, and of the south, and of the vale, and of the springs, and all their kings: he left none remaining, but utterly destroyed all that breathed, as YY Elohim of Yisrael Commanded.

And YY delivered Lachish into the hand of Yisrael, which took it on the second day, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and all the souls that were therein, according to all that he had done to Libnah.

And that day Y'howshu`a took Makkedah, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and the king thereof he utterly destroyed, them, and all the souls that were therein; he let none remain: and he did to the king of Makkedah as he did unto the king of Yericho.

And they answered Y'howshu`a, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that YY thy Elohim Commanded his servant Moshe to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were sore afraid of our lives because of you, and have done this thing.

And it came to pass, when Yisrael had made an end of slaying all the inhabitants of Ai in the field, in the wilderness wherein they chased them, and when they were all fallen on the edge of the sword, until they were consumed, that all the Yisraelites returned unto Ai, and smote it with the edge of the sword.

Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him:

So YY our Elohim delivered into our hands Og also, the king of Bashan, and all his people: and we smote him until none was left to him remaining.

Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places:

And blessed be the El Elyon, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.

He that sacrificeth unto any Elohim, save unto YY only, he shall be utterly destroyed.

Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him.

And YY our Elohim delivered him before us; and we smote him, and his sons, and all his people.

And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed the men, and the women, and the little ones, of every city, we left none to remain:

And thou shalt consume all the people which YY thy Elohim shall deliver thee; thine eye shall have no pity upon them: neither shalt thou serve their elohim; for that will be a snare unto thee.

Thine eye shall not pity him, but thou shalt put away the guilt of innocent blood from Yisrael, that it may go well with thee.

Then thou shalt cut off her hand, thine eye shall not pity her.

And YY shall give them up before your face, that ye may do unto them according unto all The Commandments which I have Commanded you.

The eternal Elohim is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.

And the men of Yisrael said unto the Hivi, Peradventure ye dwell among us; and how shall we make a league with you?

Now therefore let us make a covenant with our Elohim to put away all the wives, and such as are born of them, according to the counsel of my YY , and of those that tremble at The Commandment of our Elohim; and let it be done according to the Torah.

They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom YY Commanded them:

And Yisrael vowed a vow unto YY , and said, If thou wilt indeed deliver this people into my hand, then I will utterly destroy their cities.

Understand therefore this day, that YY thy Elohim is he which goeth over before thee; as a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thy face: so shalt thou drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as YY hath said unto thee.

But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.

And YY delivered them into the hand of Yisrael, who smote them, and chased them unto great Zidon, and unto Misrephothmaim, and unto the valley of Mizpeh eastward; and they smote them, until they left them none remaining.

And Ben-hadad said unto him, The cities, which my father took from thy father, I will restore; and thou shalt make streets for thee in Dammesek, as my father made in Shomron. Then said Achav, I will send thee away with this covenant. So he made a covenant with him, and sent him away.
