Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons;

And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

For I know Him, that He will Command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of YY , to do justice and judgment; that YY may bring upon Avraham that which He hath spoken of him.

And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall Command your children to observe to do, all the words of this Torah.

And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of YY .

The secret things belong unto YY our Elohim: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this Torah.

My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways.

Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the Torah of thy mother:

Now also when I am old and greyheaded, O Elohim, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.

Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.

My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion:

Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

And he spake unto the children of Yisrael, saying, When your children shall ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean these stones?

My son, keep my words, and lay up My Commandments with thee.

How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by YY , and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth.

Take heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant of YY your Elohim, which he made with you, and make you a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, which YY thy Elohim hath forbidden thee.

Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

Now therefore write ye this song for you, and teach it the children of Yisrael: put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for me against the children of Yisrael.

Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.

Whosoever he be that doth rebel against thy Commandment, and will not hearken unto thy words in all that thou Commandest him, he shall be put to death: only be strong and of a good courage.

Take ye therefore good heed unto yourselves; for ye saw no manner of similitude on the day that YY spake unto you in Horev out of the midst of the fire:

And that thou mayest tell in the ears of thy son, and of thy son's son, what things I have wrought in Egypt, and my signs which I have done among them; that ye may know how that I am YY .

And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other elohim, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.

Specially the day that thou stoodest before YY thy Elohim in Horev, when YY said unto me, gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children.

That thou mightest fear YY thy Elohim, to keep all his statutes and His Commandments, which I Command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son's son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.

Then beware lest thou forget YY , which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

And when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What mean the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which YY our Elohim hath Commanded you?

Beware that thou forget not YY thy Elohim, in not keeping His Commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I Command thee this day:

Then thine heart be lifted up, and thou forget YY thy Elohim, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage;

These are the statutes and judgments, which ye shall observe to do in the land, which YY Elohim of thy fathers giveth thee to possess it, all the days that ye live upon the earth.

Thou shalt eat no leavened bread with it; seven days shalt thou eat matzah therewith, even the bread of affliction; for thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt in haste: that thou mayest remember the day when thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of thy life.

And it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to fear YY his Elohim, to keep all the words of this Torah and these statutes, to do them:

And the children of Yisrael did evil in the sight of YY , and forgat YY their Elohim, and served Baalim and the groves.

And the children of Yisrael remembered not YY their Elohim, who had delivered them out of the hands of all their enemies on every side:

Thus saith YY ; Take heed to yourselves, and bear no burden on the Sabbath day, nor bring it in by the gates of Yerushalayim;

Take good heed therefore unto yourselves, that ye love YY your Elohim.

Seeing many things, but thou observest not; opening the ears, but he heareth not.
