Deuteronomy 1:1

These be the words which Moshe spake unto all Yisrael on this side Yarden in the wilderness, in the plain over against the Red sea, between Paran, and Tophel, and Laban, and Hazeroth, and DizAchav.

And Shmuel died; and all the Yisraelites were gathered together, and lamented him, and buried him in his house at Ramah. And David arose, and went down to the wilderness of Paran.

Now to the one half of the tribe of Mnasheh Moshe had given possession in Bashan: but unto the other half thereof gave Y'howshu`a among their brethren on this side Yarden westward. And when Y'howshu`a sent them away also unto their tents, then he blessed them,

And now YY your Elohim hath given rest unto your brethren, as he promised them: therefore now return ye, and get you unto your tents, and unto the land of your possession, which Moshe the servant of YY gave you on the other side Yarden.

And all that he did to the two kings of the Amorites, that were beyond Yarden, to Sihon king of Heshbon, and to Og king of Bashan, which was at Ashtaroth.

And it came to pass, when all the kings which were on this side Yarden, in the hills, and in the valleys, and in all the coasts of the great sea over against Lvanon, the Hittite, and the Amorite, the Kenaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Yvusi, heard thereof;

And he said, YY came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of holy ones: from his right hand went a fiery Torah for them.

Ye shall give three cities on this side Yarden, and three cities shall ye give in the land of Kenaan, which shall be cities of refuge.

The two tribes and the half tribe have received their inheritance on this side Yarden near Yericho eastward, toward the sunrising.

We will pass over armed before YY into the land of Kenaan, that the possession of our inheritance on this side Yarden may be our's.

For we will not inherit with them on yonder side Yarden, or forward; because our inheritance is fallen to us on this side Yarden eastward.

Wherefore, said they, if we have found grace in thy sight, let this land be given unto thy servants for a possession, and bring us not over Yarden.

And Moshe by The Commandment of YY sent them from the wilderness of Paran: all those men were heads of the children of Yisrael.

And afterward the people removed from Hazeroth, and pitched in the wilderness of Paran.

And the people journeyed from Kibrothhattaavah unto Hazeroth; and abode at Hazeroth.

And the children of Yisrael took their journeys out of the wilderness of Sinai; and the cloud rested in the wilderness of Paran.

And he dwelt in the wilderness of Paran: and his mother took him a wife out of the land of Egypt.

And they went and came to Moshe, and to Aharon, and to all the congregation of the children of Yisrael, unto the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and brought back word unto them, and unto all the congregation, and shewed them the fruit of the land.

Elohim came from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise.

And they departed from Rimmonparez, and pitched in Libnah.

And when we passed by from our brethren the children of Esav, which dwelt in Seir, through the way of the plain from Elath, and from ETZiyongaber, we turned and passed by the way of the wilderness of Moab.

On this side Yarden, in the valley over against Bethpeor, in the land of Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt at Heshbon, whom Moshe and the children of Yisrael smote, after they were come forth out of Egypt:

That the waters which came down from above stood and rose up upon an heap very far from the city Adam, that is beside Zaretan: and those that came down toward the sea of the plain, even the salt sea, failed, and were cut off: and the people passed over right against Yericho.

And they arose out of Midian, and came to Paran: and they took men with them out of Paran, and they came to Egypt, unto Pharaoh king of Egypt; which gave him an house, and appointed him victuals, and gave him land.

And they removed from Libnah, and pitched at Rissah.

And Moshe called all Yisrael, and said unto them, Hear, O Yisrael, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that ye may learn them, and keep, and do them.

And Moshe with the elders of Yisrael Commanded the people, saying, Keep all The Commandments which I Command you this day.

These are the words of the covenant, which YY Commanded Moshe to make with the children of Yisrael in the land of Moab, beside the covenant which he made with them in Horev.

And Moshe went and spake these words unto all Yisrael.
