And he also rebelled against king Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him swear by Elohim: but he stiffened his neck, and hardened his heart from turning unto YY Elohim of Yisrael.
I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
Thus saith YY -TZvaot, the Elohim of Yisrael; Behold, I will bring upon this city and upon all her towns all the evil that I have pronounced against it, because they have hardened their necks, that they might not hear my words.
Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.
Thus saith YY ; They also that uphold Egypt shall fall; and the pride of her power shall come down: from the tower of Syene shall they fall in it by the sword, saith YY Elohim.
Thou daughter that dost inhabit Dibon, come down from thy glory, and sit in thirst; for the spoiler of Moab shall come upon thee, and he shall destroy thy strong holds.
Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Bavel, sit on the ground: there is no Throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called tender and delicate.
Wherefore then do ye harden your hearts, as the Egyptians and Pharaoh hardened their hearts? when he had wrought wonderfully among them, did they not let the people go, and they departed?
Therefore thus saith YY Elohim; Because thou hast lifted up thyself in height, and he hath shot up his top among the thick boughs, and his heart is lifted up in his height;
Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great shofar was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven.
And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every Elohim, and shall speak marvellous things against the Elohim of elohim, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.
And Pharaoh sent, and, behold, there was not one of the cattle of the Yisraelites dead. And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, and he did not let the people go.
But Hizkiyah-yahu rendered not again according to the benefit done unto him; for his heart was lifted up: therefore there was wrath upon him, and upon Yhudah and Yerushalayim.
