Then was Daniel brought in before the king. And the king spake and said unto Daniel, Art thou that Daniel, which art of the children of the captivity of Yhudah, whom the king my father brought out of Jewry?

Then answered they and said before the king, That Daniel, which is of the children of the captivity of Yhudah, regardeth not thee, O king, nor the decree that thou hast signed, but maketh his petition three times a day.

There is a man in thy kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy elohim; and in the days of thy father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the elohim, was found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king, I say, thy father, made master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers;

Then Arioch brought in Daniel before the king in haste, and said thus unto him, I have found a man of the captives of Yhudah, that will make known unto the king the interpretation.

His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Yhudah, that thy talmidim also may see the works that thou doest.

And the children of the captivity did so. And Ezra the kohen, with certain chief of the fathers, after the house of their fathers, and all of them by their names, were separated, and sat down in the first day of the tenth month to examine the matter.

And the children of Yisrael, the kohanim, and the Lvim, and the rest of the children of the captivity, kept the dedication of this house of Elohim with joy.

Now when the adversaries of Yhudah and Binyamin heard that the children of the captivity builded the temple unto YY Elohim of Yisrael;

After these things Y'shuw`a walked in Galil: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.

And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I rose up, and did the king's business; and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood it.

In the third year of the reign of king Belshazzar a vision appeared unto me, even unto me Daniel, after that which appeared unto me at the first.

O thou king, the El Elyon gave Nebuchadnezzar thy father a kingdom, and majesty, and glory, and honour:

Belshazzar, whiles he tasted the wine, commanded to bring the golden and silver vessels which his father Nebuchadnezzar had taken out of the temple which was in Yerushalayim; that the king, and his princes, his wives, and his concubines, might drink therein.

Then the king made Daniel a great man, and gave him many great gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Bavel, and chief of the governors over all the wise men of Bavel.

And Daniel continued even unto the first year of king Cyrus.

And they made proclamation throughout Yhudah and Yerushalayim unto all the children of the captivity, that they should gather themselves together unto Yerushalayim;

In the third year of the reign of Yhoyakhim king of Yhudah came Nebuchadnezzar king of Bavel unto Yerushalayim, and besieged it.

And YY gave Yhoyakhim king of Yhudah into his hand, with part of the vessels of the house of Elohim: which he carried into the land of Shinar to the house of his Elohim; and he brought the vessels into the treasure house of his Elohim.

I have even heard of thee, that the spirit of the elohim is in thee, and that light and understanding and excellent wisdom is found in thee.
