Daniel 4:19

Israeli Authorized Version

Then Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, was astonied for one hour, and his thoughts troubled him. The king spake, and said, Belteshazzar, let not the dream, or the interpretation thereof, trouble thee. Belteshazzar answered and said, My YY , the dream be to them that hate thee, and the interpretation thereof to thine enemies.

And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I rose up, and did the king's business; and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood it.

Hitherto is the end of the matter. As for me Daniel, my cogitations much troubled me, and my countenance changed in me: but I kept the matter in my heart.

This is the interpretation, O king, and this is the decree of the El Elyon, which is come upon my YY the king:

My bowels, my bowels! I am pained at my very heart; my heart maketh a noise in me; I cannot hold my peace, because thou hast heard, O my soul, the sound of the shofar, the alarm of war.

And he said, What is the thing that YY hath said unto thee? I pray thee hide it not from me: Elohim do so to thee, and more also, if thou hide any thing from me of all the things that he said unto thee.

The mountains saw thee, and they trembled: the overflowing of the water passed by: the deep uttered his voice, and lifted up his hands on high.

I Daniel was grieved in my spirit in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head troubled me.

Forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and shewing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called, and he will shew the interpretation.

The king answered and said to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, Art thou able to make known unto me the dream which I have seen, and the interpretation thereof?

Unto whom the prince of the eunuchs gave names: for he gave unto Daniel the name of Belteshazzar; and to Hananiah, of Shadrach; and to Mishael, of Meshach; and to Azariah, of Abednego.

And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto YY for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.

And as Ovadyah-yahu was in the way, behold, Eliyah-yahu met him: and he knew him, and fell on his face, and said, Art thou that my YY Eliyah-yahu?

And David said to Abner, Art not thou a valiant man? and who is like to thee in Yisrael? wherefore then hast thou not kept thy YY the king? for there came one of the people in to destroy the king thy YY .

David also arose afterward, and went out of the cave, and cried after Saul, saying, My YY the king. And when Saul looked behind him, David stooped with his face to the earth, and bowed himself.

And Hannah answered and said, No, my YY , I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before YY .

Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin--; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.

Then thou shalt say, They be thy servant Yaakov's; it is a present sent unto my YY Esav: and, behold, also he is behind us.

And she said to her father, Let it not displease my YY that I cannot rise up before thee; for the custom of women is upon me. And he searched but found not the images.

And Yosef said unto him, This is the interpretation of it: The three branches are three days:

Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the Elohim of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory.

O thou king, the El Elyon gave Nebuchadnezzar thy father a kingdom, and majesty, and glory, and honour:

And for the majesty that he gave him, all people, nations, and languages, trembled and feared before him: whom he would he slew; and whom he would he kept alive; and whom he would he set up; and whom he would he put down.
