The words of Amos, who was among the herdmen of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Yisrael in the days of Uziyah-yahu king of Yhudah, and in the days of Yarovam the son of Yoash king of Yisrael, two years before the earthquake.

And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uziyah-yahu king of Yhudah: and YY my Elohim shall come, and all the holy ones with thee.

Then answered Amos, and said to Amaziah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet's son; but I was an herdman, and a gatherer of sycomore fruit:

He built even Bethlehem, and Etam, and Tekoa,

So he departed thence, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he with the twelfth: and Eliyah-yahu passed by him, and cast his mantle upon him.

And Yoav sent to Tekoah, and fetched thence a wise woman, and said unto her, I pray thee, feign thyself to be a mourner, and put on now mourning apparel, and anoint not thyself with oil, but be as a woman that had a long time mourned for the dead:

The vision of Yeshayah-yahu the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Yhudah and Yerushalayim in the days of Uziyah-yahu, Yotam, Ahaz, and Hizkiyah-yahu, kings of Yhudah.

In the fifteenth year of Amaziah the son of Yoash king of Yhudah Yarovam the son of Yoash king of Yisrael began to reign in Shomron, and reigned forty and one years.

But Elohim hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and Elohim hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

The word of YY that came to Mikhah the Morasthite in the days of Yotam, Ahaz, and Hizkiyah-yahu, kings of Yhudah, which he saw concerning Shomron and Yerushalayim.

The word of YY that came unto Hoshea, the son of Beeri, in the days of Uziyah-yahu, Yotam, Ahaz, and Hizkiyah-yahu, kings of Yhudah, and in the days of Yarovam the son of Yoash, king of Yisrael.

And all the people of Yhudah took Azariah, which was sixteen years old, and made him king instead of his father Amaziah.

Therefore thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee.

Now Moshe kept the flock of Yitro his father in law, the kohen of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of Elohim, even to Horev.

The prophets that have been before me and before thee of old prophesied both against many countries, and against great kingdoms, of war, and of evil, and of pestilence.
