Acts 8:1

And Shaul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the Congregation which was at Yerushalayim; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Yhudah and Shomron, except the emissaries.

And when the blood of thy martyr Stephen was shed, I also was standing by, and consenting unto his death, and kept the raiment of them that slew him.

And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Shaul.

And to him they agreed: and when they had called the emissaries, and beaten them, they Commanded that they should not speak in the name of Y'shuw`a, and let them go.

When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, and took counsel to slay them.

But ye shall receive power, after that Ruach HaKodesh is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Yerushalayim, and in all Yhudah, and in Shomron, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Now when the emissaries which were at Yerushalayim heard that Shomron had received the word of Elohim, they sent unto them Kefa and Yochanan:

Then had the Congregations rest throughout all Yhudah and Galil and Shomron, and were edified; and walking in the fear of YY , and in the comfort of Ruach HaKodesh, were multiplied.

Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.

Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.

But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the good news;

Now there were in the Congregation that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Bar-Nabba, and Shimeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Menachem, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Shaul.

This is he, that was in the Congregation in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the Mount Sinai, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:

Go, stand and speak in the Temple to the people all the words of this life.

And laid their hands on the emissaries, and put them in the common prison.

Praising Elohim, and having favour with all the people. And YY added to the Congregation daily such as should be saved.

They shall put you out of the Synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth Elohim service.

Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your Synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:

And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.

Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

Then was the king exceedingly glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his Elohim.

Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Yerushalayim, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his Elohim, as he did aforetime.

And I sent messengers unto them, saying, I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you?

When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.

And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him.

Then Philip went down to the city of Shomron, and preached Moshiach unto them.

For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of Elohim, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:

Which thing I also did in Yerushalayim: and many of the holy ones did I shut up in prison, having received authority from the chief kohanim; and when they were put to death, I gave my voice against them.

Who knowing the judgment of Elohim, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
