Then stood there up one in the council, a Parush, named Gamliel, a teacher of the Torah, had in reputation among all the people, and Commanded to put the emissaries forth a little space;
And it came to pass, that on one of those days, as he taught the people in the Temple, and preached the good news, the chief kohanim and the scribes came upon him with the elders,
And straightway in the morning the chief kohanim held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council, and bound Y'shuw`a, and carried him away, and delivered him to Pilate.
Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they practise it, because it is in the power of their hand.
