That Moshiach should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.

Ought not Moshiach to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?

And from Y'shuw`a HaMoshiach, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

And he is the head of the body, the Congregation: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Yerushalayim, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Moshiach died for our sins according to the scriptures;

A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Yisrael.

Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith YY -TZvaot: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. THis Commandment have I received of my Father.

To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto Elohim, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

Why should it be thought a thing incredible with you, that Elohim should raise the dead?

And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.

But those things, which Elohim before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Moshiach should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.

Y'shuw`a said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Moshiach to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

I YY have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;

And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Yaakov, and to restore the preserved of Yisrael: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.

The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.

Yea, and all the prophets from Shmuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.

In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious good news of Moshiach, who is the image of Elohim, should shine unto them.
