Now there were in the Congregation that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Bar-Nabba, and Shimeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Menachem, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Shaul.

And Yosef, who by the emissaries was surnamed Bar-Nabba, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levi, and of the country of Cyprus,

Paul also and Bar-Nabba continued in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of YY , with many others also.

All the holy ones salute you, chiefly they that are of Caesar's household.

And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Bar-Nabba also was carried away with their dissimulation.

Or I only and Bar-Nabba, have not we power to forbear working?

Timotheus my workfellow, and Lucius, and Jason, and Sosipater, my kinsmen, salute you.

And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy.

And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, Ruach HaKodesh came on them; and they spake with languages, and prophesied.

Which also they did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Bar-Nabba and Shaul.

And Bar-Nabba and Shaul returned from Yerushalayim, when they had fulfilled their ministry, and took with them Yochanan, whose surname was Mark.

And Shaul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the emissaries of YY , went unto kohen hagadol,

And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Shimon by name: him they compelled to bear his execution stake.

Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.

And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not love, I am nothing.

Love never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be languages, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge.

And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.
