Then tidings of these things came unto the ears of the Congregation which was in Yerushalayim: and they sent forth Bar-Nabba, that he should go as far as Antioch.
But Bar-Nabba took him, and brought him to the emissaries, and declared unto them how he had seen the Lord in the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Dammesek in the name of Y'shuw`a.
But now when Timotheus came from you unto us, and brought us good tidings of your faith and love, and that ye have good remembrance of us always, desiring greatly to see us, as we also to see you:
Then pleased it the emissaries and elders, with the whole Congregation, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Bar-Nabba; namely, Yhudah surnamed Bar-Sabba, and Sila, chief men among the brethren:
When therefore Paul and Bar-Nabba had no small dissension and disputation with them, they determined that Paul and Bar-Nabba, and certain other of them, should go up to Yerushalayim unto the emissaries and elders about this question.
And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of Ruach HaKodesh, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nikanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicholas a proselyte of Antioch:
Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only.
And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the Congregation, and taught much people. And the talmidim were called "Messianics" first in Antioch.
