If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Y'shuw`a HaMoshiach, nourished up in the words of faith and of good teaching, whereunto thou hast attained.
Be not carried about with divers and strange teachings. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound teaching; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
For our good news came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in Ruach HaKodesh, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.
When I therefore was thus minded, did I use lightness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be yea yea, and nay nay?
And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all seasons,
That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of teaching, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.
