When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also.
Then came he to Derbe and Lystra: and, behold, a certain talmid was there, named Timotheus, the son of a certain woman, which was a Jewess, and believed; but his father was a Greek:
If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Y'shuw`a HaMoshiach, nourished up in the words of faith and of good teaching, whereunto thou hast attained.
And that from a child thou hast known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Moshiach Y'shuw`a.
For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.
These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Y'shuw`a, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
