And they brought the head of Ishbosheth unto David to Hevron, and said to the king, Behold the head of Ishbosheth the son of Saul thine enemy, which sought thy life; and YY hath avenged my YY the king this day of Saul, and of his seed.

And Saul cast the javelin; for he said, I will smite David even to the wall with it. And David avoided out of his presence twice.

But Abner the son of Ner, captain of Saul's host, took Ishbosheth the son of Saul, and brought him over to Mahanaim;

And Saul spake to Yhonatan his son, and to all his servants, that they should kill David.
