But the king spared Mfivoshet, the son of Yhonatan the son of Saul, because of YY 's oath that was between them, between David and Yhonatan the son of Saul.
And Yhonatan, Saul's son, had a son that was lame of his feet. He was five years old when the tidings came of Saul and Yhonatan out of Yizreel, and his nurse took him up, and fled: and it came to pass, as she made haste to flee, that he fell, and became lame. And his name was Mfivoshet.
But also thou shalt not cut off thy kindness from my house for ever: no, not when YY hath cut off the enemies of David every one from the face of the earth.
Thou therefore, and thy sons, and thy servants, shall till the land for him, and thou shalt bring in the fruits, that thy master's son may have food to eat: but Mfivoshet thy master's son shall eat bread alway at my table. Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.

And Yhonatan said to David, Go in peace, forasmuch as we have sworn both of us in the name of YY , saying, YY be between me and thee, and between my seed and thy seed for ever. And he arose and departed: and Yhonatan went into the city.
Then said the king to Ziba, Behold, thine are all that pertained unto Mfivoshet. And Ziba said, I humbly beseech thee that I may find grace in thy sight, my YY , O king.
And David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely shew thee kindness for Yhonatan thy father's sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually.
And Yhonatan said unto David, O YY Elohim of Yisrael, when I have sounded my father about to morrow any time, or the third day, and, behold, if there be good toward David, and I then send not unto thee, and shew it thee;
Now when Mfivoshet, the son of Yhonatan, the son of Saul, was come unto David, he fell on his face, and did reverence. And David said, Mfivoshet. And he answered, Behold thy servant!
