And when the children of Ammon saw that the Syrians were fled, then fled they also before Abishai, and entered into the city. So Yoav returned from the children of Ammon, and came to Yerushalayim.

And I am this day weak, though anointed king; and these men the sons of TZruyah be too hard for me: YY shall reward the doer of evil according to his wickedness.

So Yoav, and Abishai his brother slew Abner, because he had slain their brother Asahel at Givon in the battle.

And there were three sons of TZruyah there, Yoav, and Abishai, and Asahel: and Asahel was as light of foot as a wild roe.

Then answered David and said to Ahimelech the Hittite, and to Abishai the son of TZruyah, brother to Yoav, saying, Who will go down with me to Saul to the camp? And Abishai said, I will go down with thee.

Why do we sit still? assemble yourselves, and let us enter into the defenced cities, and let us be silent there: for YY our Elohim hath put us to silence, and given us water of gall to drink, because we have sinned against YY .

And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.
