And David comforted Bat-Sheva his wife, and went in unto her, and lay with her: and she bare a son, and he called his name Shlomo: and YY loved him.

And Yishai begat David the king; and David the king begat Shlomo of her that had been the wife of Uriyah;

And he sent by the hand of Natan the prophet; and he called his name Ydidyah, because of YY .

But Natan the prophet, and Benaiah, and the mighty men, and Shlomo his brother, he called not.

Wherefore Natan spake unto Bat-Sheva the mother of Shlomo, saying, Hast thou not heard that AdoniYAH the son of Haggith doth reign, and David our YY knoweth it not?

Did not Shlomo king of Yisrael sin by these things? yet among many nations was there no king like him, who was beloved of his Elohim, and Elohim made him king over all Yisrael: nevertheless even him did outlandish women cause to sin.

And of Binyamin he said, The beloved of YY shall dwell in safety by him; and YY shall cover him all the day long, and he shall dwell between his shoulders.

And these be the names of those that were born unto him in Yerushalayim; Shammuah, and Shobab, and Natan, and Shlomo,

For I was my father's son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother.
