And he arose, and went into the house; and he poured the oil on his head, and said unto him, Thus saith YY Elohim of Yisrael, I have anointed thee king over the people of YY , even over Yisrael.
And the destruction of Ahaziah was of Elohim by coming to Joram: for when he was come, he went out with Yoram against Yehu the son of Nimshi, whom YY had anointed to cut off the house of Achav.
Then take the box of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, Thus saith YY , I have anointed thee king over Yisrael. Then open the door, and flee, and tarry not.
And Yehu the son of Nimshi shalt thou anoint to be king over Yisrael: and Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abelmeholah shalt thou anoint to be prophet in thy room.
And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the El Elyon ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.
This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the El Elyon ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.
And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:
Thus saith YY to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;
Forasmuch as I exalted thee out of the dust, and made thee prince over my people Yisrael; and thou hast walked in the way of Yarovam, and hast made my people Yisrael to sin, to provoke me to anger with their sins;
Blessed be YY thy Elohim, which delighted in thee, to set thee on the Throne of Yisrael: because YY loved Yisrael for ever, therefore made he thee king, to do judgment and justice.
He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the Throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are YY 's, and he hath set the world upon them.
Then Shmuel took a vial of oil, and poured it upon his head, and kissed him, and said, Is it not because YY hath anointed thee to be captain over his inheritance?
And when he came, behold, the captains of the host were sitting; and he said, I have an errand to thee, O captain. And Yehu said, Unto which of all us? And he said, To thee, O captain.
