And the sons of the prophets that were at Beit-El came forth to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that YY will take away thy master from thy head to day? And he said, Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace.

Now therefore hearken, O Yisrael, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which YY Elohim of your fathers giveth you.

Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I Command thee: be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound thee before them.

And YY said, Who shall persuade Achav, that he may go up and fall at RamothGilad? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner.

And he said unto Yhoshafat, Wilt thou go with me to battle to RamothGilad? And Yhoshafat said to the king of Yisrael, I am as thou art, my people as thy people, my horses as thy horses.

And a certain man of the sons of the prophets said unto his neighbour in the word of YY , Smite me, I pray thee. And the man refused to smite him.

And the hand of YY was on Eliyah-yahu; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Achav to the entrance of Yizreel.

Your eyes have seen what YY did because of Baalpeor: for all the men that followed Baalpeor, YY thy Elohim hath destroyed them from among you.

Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear YY : and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen.

There came unto him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head, as he sat at meat.

And Yehu the son of Nimshi shalt thou anoint to be king over Yisrael: and Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abelmeholah shalt thou anoint to be prophet in thy room.

So the young man, even the young man the prophet, went to RamothGilad.

And the sons of the prophets that were at Yericho came to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that YY will take away thy master from thy head to day? And he answered, Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace.

And fifty men of the sons of the prophets went, and stood to view afar off: and they two stood by Yarden.

And when the sons of the prophets which were to view at Yericho saw him, they said, The spirit of Eliyah-yahu doth rest on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him.

And the inhabitants of Yerushalayim made Ahaziah his youngest son king in his stead: for the band of men that came with the Arabians to the camp had slain all the eldest. So Ahaziah the son of Yoram king of Yhudah reigned.

He walked also after their counsel, and went with Yoram the son of Achav king of Yisrael to war against Hazael king of Syria at RamothGilad: and the Syrians smote Joram.
