So Hazael went to meet him, and took a present with him, even of every good thing of Dammesek, forty camels' burden, and came and stood before him, and said, Thy son Benhadad king of Syria hath sent me to thee, saying, Shall I recover of this disease?

Ask thy young men, and they will shew thee. Wherefore let the young men find favour in thine eyes: for we come in a good day: give, I pray thee, whatsoever cometh to thine hand unto thy servants, and to thy son David.

Then said Saul to his servant, But, behold, if we go, what shall we bring the man? for the bread is spent in our vessels, and there is not a present to bring to the man of Elohim: what have we?

Then Asa took all the silver and the gold that were left in the treasures of the house of YY , and the treasures of the king's house, and delivered them into the hand of his servants: and king Asa sent them to Benhadad, the son of Tabrimon, the son of HeTZiyon, king of Syria, that dwelt at Dammesek, saying,

And Ahaziah fell down through a lattice in his upper chamber that was in Shomron, and was sick: and he sent messengers, and said unto them, Go, enquire of Baalzebub the Elohim of Ekron whether I shall recover of this disease.

A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
