And he brought all the kohanim out of the cities of Yhudah, and defiled the high places where the kohanim had burned incense, from Geba to Beer-Sheva, and brake down the high places of the gates that were in the entering in of the gate of Y'howshu`a the governor of the city, which were on a man's left hand at the gate of the city.

And he went up from thence to Beer-Sheva.

Wherefore he called that place Beer-Sheva; because there they sware both of them.

And Avraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread, and a bottle of water, and gave it unto Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, and the child, and sent her away: and she departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beer-Sheva.

And the Lvim that are gone away far from me, when Yisrael went astray, which went astray away from me after their idols; they shall even bear their iniquity.

And Chepharhaammonai, and Ophni, and Gaba; twelve cities with their villages:

But seek not Beit-El, nor enter into Gilgal, and pass not to Beer-Sheva: for Gilgal shall surely go into captivity, and Beit-El shall come to nought.
