I beseech thee, O YY , remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hizkiyah-yahu wept sore.

And I Commanded the Lvim that they should cleanse themselves, and that they should come and keep the gates, to sanctify the Sabbath day. Remember me, O my Elohim, concerning this also, and spare me according to the greatness of thy mercy.

Remember me, O my Elohim, concerning this, and wipe not out my good deeds that I have done for the house of my Elohim, and for the offices thereof.

Think upon me, my Elohim, for good, according to all that I have done for this people.

Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake, O YY .

I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.

And YY said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Iyov, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth Elohim, and escheweth evil?

There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Iyov; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared Elohim, and eschewed evil.

For the eyes of YY run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.

But the high places were not removed: nevertheless Asa's heart was perfect with YY all his days.

For it came to pass, when Shlomo was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other elohim: and his heart was not perfect with YY his Elohim, as was the heart of David his father.

And Shlomo said, Thou hast shewed unto thy servant David my father great mercy, according as he walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee; and thou hast kept for him this great kindness, that thou hast given him a son to sit on his Throne, as it is this day.

That YY may continue his word which he spake concerning me, saying, If thy children take heed to their way, to walk before me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, there shall not fail thee (said he) a man on the Throne of Yisrael.

And if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have Commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and my judgments:

Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto YY , saying,

And it came to pass, afore Yeshayah-yahu was gone out into the middle court, that the word of YY came to him, saying,

Judge me, O YY ; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in YY ; therefore I shall not slide.

For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth.

And he said, YY Elohim of Yisrael, there is no Elohim like thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee with all their heart:

Is not this thy fear, thy confidence, thy hope, and the uprightness of thy ways?

My friends scorn me: but mine eye poureth out tears unto Elohim.

Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies.

O spare me, that I may recover strength, before I go hence, and be no more.

I have declared my ways, and thou heardest me: teach me thy statutes.

For thus saith YY unto the house of Yisrael, Seek ye me, and ye shall live:
