And Eliyah-yahu said unto him, Elisha, tarry here, I pray thee; for YY hath sent me to Yericho. And he said, As YY liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they came to Yericho.

And Eliyah-yahu said unto Elisha, Tarry here, I pray thee; for YY hath sent me to Beit-El. And Elisha said unto him, As YY liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they went down to Beit-El.

And Y'howshu`a adjured them at that time, saying, Cursed be the man before YY , that riseth up and buildeth this city Yericho: he shall lay the foundation thereof in his firstborn, and in his youngest son shall he set up the gates of it.

And Y'shuw`a entered and passed through Yericho.

And the mother of the child said, As YY liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And he arose, and followed her.

In his days did Hiel the Beit-Elite build Yericho: he laid the foundation thereof in Abiram his firstborn, and set up the gates thereof in his youngest son Segub, according to the word of YY , which he spake by Y'howshu`a the son of Nun.

Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of Elohim, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto YY .

And they continued stedfastly in the emissaries' teaching and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

And she said, Oh my YY , as thy soul liveth, my YY , I am the woman that stood by thee here, praying unto YY .

Now Yericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Yisrael: none went out, and none came in.

And Rut said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy Elohim my Elohim:
