It may be YY thy Elohim will hear all the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Ashur his master hath sent to reproach the living Elohim; and will reprove the words which YY thy Elohim hath heard: wherefore lift up thy prayer for the remnant that are left.

Yeshayahu also crieth concerning Yisrael, Though the number of the children of Yisrael be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved:

Thus saith YY Elohim; I will yet for this be enquired of by the house of Yisrael, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock.

Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof YY spake in that day; for thou heardest in that day how the Anakims were there, and that the cities were great and fenced: if so be YY will be with me, then I shall be able to drive them out, as YY said.

Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.

Except YY -TZvaot had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.

Remember this, that the enemy hath reproached, O YY , and that the foolish people have blasphemed thy name.

These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.

And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

And for this cause Hizkiyah-yahu the king, and the prophet Yeshayah-yahu the son of Amoz, prayed and cried to heaven.

Whom hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice, and lifted up thine eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Yisrael.

Now in the fourteenth year of king Hizkiyah-yahu did Sancheriv king of Ashur come up against all the fenced cities of Yhudah, and took them.

Then said David to the Plishti, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of YY -TZvaot, the Elohim of the armies of Yisrael, whom thou hast defied.

And Yhonatan said to the young man that bare his armour, Come, and let us go over unto the garrison of these uncircumcised: it may be that YY will work for us: for there is no restraint to YY to save by many or by few.

For YY shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when he seeth that their power is gone, and there is none shut up, or left.

And Avraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of YY it shall be seen.

Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man that killeth this Plishti, and taketh away the reproach from Yisrael? for who is this uncircumcised Plishti, that he should defy the armies of the living Elohim?

And they said unto him, Thus saith Hizkiyah-yahu, This day is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and blasphemy; for the children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth.

So the servants of king Hizkiyah-yahu came to Yeshayah-yahu.

YY , bow down thine ear, and hear: open, YY , thine eyes, and see: and hear the words of Sancheriv, which hath sent him to reproach the living Elohim.

And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Yhudah shall yet again take root downward, and bear fruit upward.

And the burden of YY shall ye mention no more: for every man's word shall be his burden; for ye have perverted the words of the living Elohim, of YY -TZvaot our Elohim.

And said unto them, Thus saith YY , the Elohim of Yisrael, unto whom ye sent me to present your supplication before him;

And Y'howshu`a said, Hereby ye shall know that the living Elohim is among you, and that he will without fail drive out from before you the Kenaanim, and the Hittitim, and the Hivi, and the Perizzites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Yvusis.

And the Plishti said, I defy the armies of Yisrael this day; give me a man, that we may fight together.

By thy messengers thou hast reproached YY , and hast said, With the multitude of my chariots I am come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of Lvanon, and will cut down the tall cedar trees thereof, and the choice fir trees thereof: and I will enter into the lodgings of his borders, and into the forest of his Carmel.

For out of Yerushalayim shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount TZiyon: the zeal of YY -TZvaot shall do this.
