Where are the elohim of Hamath, and of Arpad? where are the elohim of Sepharvaim, Hena, and Ivah? have they delivered Shomron out of mine hand?

And Hamath also shall border thereby; Tyrus, and Zidon, though it be very wise.

Concerning Dammesek. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet.

And the king of Ashur brought men from Bavel, and from Cuthah, and from Ava, and from Hamath, and from Sepharvaim, and placed them in the cities of Shomron instead of the children of Yisrael: and they possessed Shomron, and dwelt in the cities thereof.

From mount Hor ye shall point out your border unto the entrance of Hamath; and the goings forth of the border shall be to Zedad:

So they went up, and searched the land from the wilderness of Zin unto Rehob, as men come to Hamath.

Hath any of the elohim of the nations delivered at all his land out of the hand of the king of Ashur?

And Shlomo went to Hamathzobah, and prevailed against it.
