And the seventh year Yhoyada sent and fetched the rulers over hundreds, with the captains and the guard, and brought them to him into the house of YY , and made a covenant with them, and took an oath of them in the house of YY , and shewed them the king's son.

And he took the rulers over hundreds, and the captains, and the guard, and all the people of the land; and they brought down the king from the house of YY , and came by the way of the gate of the guard to the king's house. And he sat on the Throne of the kings.

And the captains over the hundreds did according to all things that Yhoyada the kohen Commanded: and they took every man his men that were to come in on the Sabbath, with them that should go out on the Sabbath, and came to Yhoyada the kohen.

And they entered into a covenant to seek YY Elohim of their fathers with all their heart and with all their soul;

And Yhoyada made a covenant between YY and the king and the people, that they should be YY 's people; between the king also and the people.

Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.

Now when kohen hagadol and the captain of the Temple and the chief kohanim heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto this would grow.

They clave to their brethren, their nobles, and entered into a curse, and into an oath, to walk in Elohim's Torah, which was given by Moshe the servant of Elohim, and to observe and do all The Commandments of YY our YY , and his judgments and his statutes;

And because of all this we make a sure covenant, and write it; and our princes, Lvim, and kohanim, seal unto it.

Then said they, We will restore them, and will require nothing of them; so will we do as thou sayest. Then I called the kohanim, and took an oath of them, that they should do according to this promise.

Now it is in mine heart to make a covenant with YY Elohim of Yisrael, that his fierce wrath may turn away from us.

And their brethren, heads of the house of their fathers, a thousand and seven hundred and threescore; very able men for the work of the service of the house of Elohim.

And the king stood by a pillar, and made a covenant before YY , to walk after YY , and to keep His Commandments and his testimonies and his statutes with all their heart and all their soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people stood to the covenant.

As YY thy Elohim liveth, there is no nation or kingdom, whither my YY hath not sent to seek thee: and when they said, He is not there; he took an oath of the kingdom and nation, that they found thee not.

And they two made a covenant before YY : and David abode in the wood, and Yhonatan went to his house.

Then Yhonatan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul.

So Y'howshu`a made a covenant with the people that day, and set them a statute and an ordinance in Shkhem.

And Yosef took an oath of the children of Yisrael, saying, Elohim will surely visit you, and ye shall carry up my bones from hence.

Now Yoav was over all the host of Yisrael: and Benaiah the son of Yhoyada was over the Cherethites and over the Pelethites:

And he was with her hid in the house of YY six years. And Athaliah did reign over the land.

And Benaiah the son of Yhoyada was over both the Cherethites and the Pelethites; and David's sons were chief rulers.

And king Rechavam made in their stead brasen shields, and committed them unto the hands of the chief of the guard, which kept the door of the king's house.

Then king Jehoash called for Yhoyada the kohen, and the other kohanim, and said unto them, Why repair ye not the breaches of the house? now therefore receive no more money of your acquaintance, but deliver it for the breaches of the house.
