And when they were come to the land of Zuph, Saul said to his servant that was with him, Come, and let us return; lest my father leave caring for the asses, and take thought for us.

When thou art departed from me to day, then thou shalt find two men by Rachel's sepulchre in the border of Binyamin at Zelzah; and they will say unto thee, The asses which thou wentest to seek are found: and, lo, thy father hath left the care of the asses, and sorroweth for you, saying, What shall I do for my son?

Now there was a certain man of Ramathaimzophim, of mount Efrayim, and his name was Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephrathite:

And when they bring you unto the Synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:

And he said unto his talmidim, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.

And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
