I gave thee a king in mine anger, and took him away in my wrath.

And afterward they desired a king: and Elohim gave unto them Shaul Ben-Kish, a man of the tribe of Binyamin, by the space of forty years.

And I contended with them, and cursed them, and smote certain of them, and plucked off their hair, and made them swear by Elohim, saying, Ye shall not give your daughters unto their sons, nor take their daughters unto your sons, or for yourselves.

And it came to pass, that when the gates of Yerushalayim began to be dark before the Sabbath, I Commanded that the gates should be shut, and charged that they should not be opened till after the Sabbath: and some of my servants set I at the gates, that there should no burden be brought in on the Sabbath day.

For I have told him that I will judge his house for ever for the iniquity which he knoweth; because his sons made themselves vile, and he restrained them not.

Then Saul drew near to Shmuel in the gate, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, where the seer's house is.

So Hanameel mine uncle's son came to me in the court of the prison according to the word of YY , and said unto me, Buy my field, I pray thee, that is in Anathoth, which is in the country of Binyamin: for the right of inheritance is thine, and the redemption is thine; buy it for thyself. Then I knew that this was the word of YY .
