And it came to pass, while the ark abode in Kiryat-Yearim, that the time was long; for it was twenty years: and all the house of Yisrael lamented after YY .
They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Yisrael, and Efrayim is my firstborn.
Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against YY thy Elohim, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith YY .
And the children of Yisrael journeyed, and came unto their cities on the third day. Now their cities were Givon, and Chephirah, and Beeroth, and Kiryat-Yearim.
And the men of Kiryat-Yearim came, and fetched up the ark of YY , and brought it into the house of AbiNadav in the hill, and sanctified Eleazar his son to keep the ark of YY .
And Shmuel spake unto all the house of Yisrael, saying, If ye do return unto YY with all your hearts, then put away the strange elohim and Ashtaroth from among you, and prepare your hearts unto YY , and serve him only: and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Plishtim.
And there was also a man that prophesied in the name of YY , UriYAH the son of Shemaiah of Kiryat-Yearim, who prophesied against this city and against this land according to all the words of Yirmeyah-yahu.
