And his return was to Ramah; for there was his house; and there he judged Yisrael; and there he built an altar unto YY .

And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before YY , and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and YY remembered her.

Then all the elders of Yisrael gathered themselves together, and came to Shmuel unto Ramah,

Now there was a certain man of Ramathaimzophim, of mount Efrayim, and his name was Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephrathite:

And all the people went to Gilgal; and there they made Saul king before YY in Gilgal; and there they sacrificed sacrifices of peace offerings before YY ; and there Saul and all the men of Yisrael rejoiced greatly.

And he built there an altar, and called the place ElBeit-El: because there Elohim appeared unto him, when he fled from the face of his brother.

And he erected there an altar, and called it EleloheYisrael.

And Elkanah went to Ramah to his house. And the child did minister unto YY before Eli the kohen.

And they answered them, and said, He is; behold, he is before you: make haste now, for he came to day to the city; for there is a sacrifice of the people to day in the high place:

And Saul built an altar unto YY : the same was the first altar that he built unto YY .

Then Shmuel went to Ramah; and Saul went up to his house to Givah of Saul.

Now Shmuel was dead, and all Yisrael had lamented him, and buried him in Ramah, even in his own city. And Saul had put away those that had familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land.

They are gone over the passage: they have taken up their lodging at Geba; Ramah is afraid; Givah of Saul is fled.

And she dwelt under the palm tree of Dvorah between Ramah and Beit-El in mount Efrayim: and the children of Yisrael came up to her for judgment.

Then Gidon built an altar there unto YY , and called it Jehovahshalom: unto this day it is yet in Ophrah of the Abiezrites.
