And the Plishtim fought, and Yisrael was smitten, and they fled every man into his tent: and there was a very great slaughter; for there fell of Yisrael thirty thousand footmen.
And the Plishtim put themselves in array against Yisrael: and when they joined battle, Yisrael was smitten before the Plishtim: and they slew of the army in the field about four thousand men.
YY shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and flee seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.
And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you.
And they took Avshalom, and cast him into a great pit in the wood, and laid a very great heap of stones upon him: and all Yisrael fled every one to his tent.
So when all Yisrael saw that the king hearkened not unto them, the people answered the king, saying, What portion have we in David? neither have we inheritance in the son of Yishai: to your tents, O Yisrael: now see to thine own house, David. So Yisrael departed unto their tents.
And there happened to be there a man of Bliyaal, whose name was Shva, the son of Bichri, a Benjamite: and he blew a shofar, and said, We have no part in David, neither have we inheritance in the son of Yishai: every man to his tents, O Yisrael.
Then the king arose, and sat in the gate. And they told unto all the people, saying, Behold, the king doth sit in the gate. And all the people came before the king: for Yisrael had fled every man to his tent.
But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of YY thy Elohim, to observe to do all His Commandments and his statutes which I Command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:
