Now the Plishtim fought against Yisrael: and the men of Yisrael fled from before the Plishtim, and fell down slain in mount Gilboa.

And the Plishtim gathered themselves together, and came and pitched in Shunem: and Saul gathered all Yisrael together, and they pitched in Gilboa.

Ye mountains of Gilboa, let there be no dew, neither let there be rain, upon you, nor fields of offerings: for there the shield of the mighty is vilely cast away, the shield of Saul, as though he had not been anointed with oil.

Now the Plishtim gathered together all their armies to Aphek: and the Yisraelites pitched by a fountain which is in Yizreel.

And Shmuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul answered, I am sore distressed; for the Plishtim make war against me, and Elohim is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by prophets, nor by dreams: therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do.

And it came to pass in those days, that the Plishtim gathered their armies together for warfare, to fight with Yisrael. And Achish said unto David, Know thou assuredly, that thou shalt go out with me to battle, thou and thy men.

But if ye shall still do wickedly, ye shall be consumed, both ye and your king.

And the young man that told him said, As I happened by chance upon mount Gilboa, behold, Saul leaned upon his spear; and, lo, the chariots and horsemen followed hard after him.

And Yhonatan, Saul's son, had a son that was lame of his feet. He was five years old when the tidings came of Saul and Yhonatan out of Yizreel, and his nurse took him up, and fled: and it came to pass, as she made haste to flee, that he fell, and became lame. And his name was Mfivoshet.

Moreover YY will also deliver Yisrael with thee into the hand of the Plishtim: and to morrow shalt thou and thy sons be with me: YY also shall deliver the host of Yisrael into the hand of the Plishtim.
