And David said unto Yhonatan, Behold, to morrow is the new moon, and I should not fail to sit with the king at meat: but let me go, that I may hide myself in the field unto the third day at even.

Blow up the shofar in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.

Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an Holyday, or of the New Moon, or of the Sabbath Days:

And then immediately the brethren sent away Paul to go as it were to the sea: but Silas and Timotheus abode there still.

Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Y'shuw`a hid himself, and went out of the Temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.

For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him:

And when thou hast stayed three days, then thou shalt go down quickly, and come to the place where thou didst hide thyself when the business was in hand, and shalt remain by the stone Ezel.

If thy father at all miss me, then say, David earnestly asked leave of me that he might run to Bethlehem his city: for there is a yearly sacrifice there for all the family.

And he said, Wherefore wilt thou go to him to day? it is neither new moon, nor Sabbath. And she said, It shall be well.

Then said Yhonatan unto David, Whatsoever thy soul desireth, I will even do it for thee.

Then Yhonatan said to David, To morrow is the new moon: and thou shalt be missed, because thy seat will be empty.

So David hid himself in the field: and when the new moon was come, the king sat him down to eat meat.

And it came to pass on the morrow, which was the second day of the month, that David's place was empty: and Saul said unto Yhonatan his son, Wherefore cometh not the son of Yishai to meat, neither yesterday, nor to day?

Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the Sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit?
