Then said David to the Plishti, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of YY -TZvaot, the Elohim of the armies of Yisrael, whom thou hast defied.
Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Plishti shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living Elohim.
But when Sanvalat the Horonite, and Toviyah the servant, the Ammonite, and Geshem the Arabian, heard it, they laughed us to scorn, and despised us, and said, What is this thing that ye do? will ye rebel against the king?
