Then said he unto all Yisrael, Be ye on one side, and I and Yhonatan my son will be on the other side. And the people said unto Saul, Do what seemeth good unto thee.
And Saul said, Let us go down after the Plishtim by night, and spoil them until the morning light, and let us not leave a man of them. And they said, Do whatsoever seemeth good unto thee. Then said the kohen, Let us draw near hither unto Elohim.
For, as YY liveth, which saveth Yisrael, though it be in Yhonatan my son, he shall surely die. But there was not a man among all the people that answered him.
And Elkanah her husband said unto her, Do what seemeth thee good; tarry until thou have weaned him; only YY establish his word. So the woman abode, and gave her son suck until she weaned him.
