And Ahiah, the son of Ahitub, Ikhavod's brother, the son of Pinchas, the son of Eli, YY 's kohen in Shiloh, wearing an ephod. And the people knew not that Yhonatan was gone.
And she named the child Ikhavod, saying, The glory is departed from Yisrael: because the ark of Elohim was taken, and because of her father in law and her husband.
And did I choose him out of all the tribes of Yisrael to be my kohen, to offer upon mine altar, to burn incense, to wear an ephod before me? and did I give unto the house of thy father all the offerings made by fire of the children of Yisrael?
And this man went up out of his city yearly to worship and to sacrifice unto YY -TZvaot in Shiloh. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Pinchas, the kohanim of YY , were there.
And Saul said, Let us go down after the Plishtim by night, and spoil them until the morning light, and let us not leave a man of them. And they said, Do whatsoever seemeth good unto thee. Then said the kohen, Let us draw near hither unto Elohim.
So the people sent to Shiloh, that they might bring from thence the ark of the covenant of YY -TZvaot, which dwelleth between the keruvims: and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Pinchas, were there with the ark of the covenant of Elohim.
