And the Plishtim gathered themselves together to fight with Yisrael, thirty thousand chariots, and six thousand horsemen, and people as the sand which is on the sea shore in multitude: and they came up, and pitched in Michmash, eastward from Bethaven.
But I will have mercy upon the house of Yhudah, and will save them by YY their Elohim, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen.
And when YY raised them up judges, then YY was with the judge, and delivered them out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge: for it repented YY because of their groanings by reason of them that oppressed them and vexed them.
And Y'howshu`a sent men from Yericho to Ai, which is beside Bethaven, on the east of Beit-El, and spake unto them, saying, Go up and view the country. And the men went up and viewed Ai.
And ye have this day rejected your Elohim, who himself saved you out of all your adversities and your tribulations; and ye have said unto him, Nay, but set a king over us. Now therefore present yourselves before YY by your tribes, and by your thousands.
Thus YY saved Hizkiyah-yahu and the inhabitants of Yerushalayim from the hand of Sancheriv the king of Ashur, and from the hand of all other, and guided them on every side.
To morrow about this time I will send thee a man out of the land of Binyamin, and thou shalt anoint him to be captain over my people Yisrael, that he may save my people out of the hand of the Plishtim: for I have looked upon my people, because their cry is come unto me.
