And all the people said unto Shmuel, Pray for thy servants unto YY thy Elohim, that we die not: for we have added unto all our sins this evil, to ask us a king.

Intreat YY (for it is enough) that there be no more mighty thunderings and hail; and I will let you go, and ye shall stay no longer.

If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.

Moreover as for me, Elohim forbid that I should sin against YY in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way:

Now therefore forgive, I pray thee, my sin only this once, and intreat YY your Elohim, that he may take away from me this death only.

And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

Then answered Shimon, and said, Pray ye to YY for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me.

And now, I pray you, beseech Elohim that he will be gracious unto us: this hath been by your means: will he regard your persons? saith YY -TZvaot.

Then said YY unto me, Though Moshe and Shmuel stood before me, yet my mind could not be toward this people: cast them out of my sight, and let them go forth.

YY , in trouble have they visited thee, they poured out a prayer when thy chastening was upon them.

Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Iyov, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Iyov shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Iyov.

And the children of Yisrael said to Shmuel, Cease not to cry unto YY our Elohim for us, that he will save us out of the hand of the Plishtim.

And Shmuel said, gather all Yisrael to Mizpeh, and I will pray for you unto YY .

Now therefore restore the man his wife; for he is a prophet, and he shall pray for thee, and thou shalt live: and if thou restore her not, know thou that thou shalt surely die, thou, and all that are thine.

Therefore the people came to Moshe, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against YY , and against thee; pray unto YY , that he take away the serpents from us. And Moshe prayed for the people.

Now therefore behold the king whom ye have chosen, and whom ye have desired! and, behold, YY hath set a king over you.

Is it not wheat harvest to day? I will call unto YY , and he shall send thunder and rain; that ye may perceive and see that your wickedness is great, which ye have done in the sight of YY , in asking you a king.

And Shmuel said unto the people, Fear not: ye have done all this wickedness: yet turn not aside from following YY , but serve YY with all your heart;

He causeth it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy.

But if they be prophets, and if the word of YY be with them, let them now make intercession to YY -TZvaot, that the vessels which are left in the house of YY , and in the house of the king of Yhudah, and at Yerushalayim, go not to Bavel.

And said unto Yirmeyah-yahu the prophet, Let, we beseech thee, our supplication be accepted before thee, and pray for us unto YY thy Elohim, even for all this remnant; (for we are left but a few of many, as thine eyes do behold us:)

And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moshe said unto the people, Ye have sinned a great sin: and now I will go up unto YY ; peradventure I shall make an atonement for your sin.

But the thing displeased Shmuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Shmuel prayed unto YY .

And TZidkiyah-yahu the king sent Yehucal the son of Shelemiah and TZfanyah-yahu the son of Maaseiah the kohen to the prophet Yirmeyah-yahu, saying, Pray now unto YY our Elohim for us.
