I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
Notwithstanding Hizkiyah-yahu humbled himself for the pride of his heart, both he and the inhabitants of Yerushalayim, so that the wrath of YY came not upon them in the days of Hizkiyah-yahu.
They are not humbled even unto this day, neither have they feared, nor walked in my Torah, nor in my statutes, that I set before you and before your fathers.
