And the king went to Givon to sacrifice there; for that was the great high place: a thousand burnt offerings did Shlomo offer upon that altar.

And king Shlomo offered a sacrifice of twenty and two thousand oxen, and an hundred and twenty thousand sheep: so the king and all the people dedicated the house of Elohim.

So Shlomo, and all the congregation with him, went to the high place that was at Givon; for there was the tabernacle of the congregation of Elohim, which Moshe the servant of YY had made in the wilderness.

And Zadok the kohen, and his brethren the kohanim, before the tabernacle of YY in the high place that was at Givon,

For the tabernacle of YY , which Moshe made in the wilderness, and the altar of the burnt offering, were at that season in the high place at Givon.

And Lvanon is not sufficient to burn, nor the beasts thereof sufficient for a burnt offering.

And when the inhabitants of Givon heard what Y'howshu`a had done unto Yericho and to Ai,

For Hizkiyah-yahu king of Yhudah did give to the congregation a thousand bullocks and seven thousand sheep; and the princes gave to the congregation a thousand bullocks and ten thousand sheep: and a great number of kohanim sanctified themselves.

And Shlomo offered a sacrifice of peace offerings, which he offered unto YY , two and twenty thousand oxen, and an hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the children of Yisrael dedicated the house of YY .

That they feared greatly, because Givon was a great city, as one of the royal cities, and because it was greater than Ai, and all the men thereof were mighty.

That YY appeared to Shlomo the second time, as he had appeared unto him at Givon.

Now the cities of the tribe of the children of Binyamin according to their families were Yericho, and Bethhoglah, and the valley of Keziz,

And Saul said, Bring hither a burnt offering to me, and peace offerings. And he offered the burnt offering.

And they brought up the ark of YY , and the tabernacle of the congregation, and all the holy vessels that were in the tabernacle, even those did the kohanim and the Lvim bring up.

And it came to pass the same year, in the beginning of the reign of TZidkiyah-yahu king of Yhudah, in the fourth year, and in the fifth month, that Hananiah the son of Azur the prophet, which was of Givon, spake unto me in the house of YY , in the presence of the kohanim and of all the people, saying,

Then Shlomo spake unto all Yisrael, to the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and to the judges, and to every governor in all Yisrael, the chief of the fathers.
