In the twenty and sixth year of Asa king of Yhudah began Elah the son of Baasha to reign over Yisrael in Tirzah, two years.

And there was war between Asa and Baasha king of Yisrael all their days.

And also by the hand of the prophet Yehu the son of Hanani came the word of YY against Baasha, and against his house, even for all the evil that he did in the sight of YY , in provoking him to anger with the work of his hands, in being like the house of Yarovam; and because he killed him.

And his servant Zimri, captain of half his chariots, conspired against him, as he was in Tirzah, drinking himself drunk in the house of Arza steward of his house in Tirzah.

For the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof: but by a man of understanding and knowledge the state thereof shall be prolonged.

In the third year of Asa king of Yhudah began Baasha the son of AhiYAH to reign over all Yisrael in Tirzah, twenty and four years.

So Baasha slept with his fathers, and was buried in Tirzah: and Elah his son reigned in his stead.

In the twenty and seventh year of Asa king of Yhudah did Zimri reign seven days in Tirzah. And the people were encamped against Gibbethon, which belonged to the Plishtim.

Then were the people of Yisrael divided into two parts: half of the people followed Tibni the son of Ginath, to make him king; and half followed Omri.

In the thirty and first year of Asa king of Yhudah began Omri to reign over Yisrael, twelve years: six years reigned he in Tirzah.

For Menahem the son of Gadi went up from Tirzah, and came to Shomron, and smote Shallum the son of Jabesh in Shomron, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.

In the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Yhudah Pekahiah the son of Menahem began to reign over Yisrael in Shomron, and reigned two years.

Amon was twenty and two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned two years in Yerushalayim. And his mother's name was Meshullemeth, the daughter of Haruz of Jotbah.
