And his father had not displeased him at any time in saying, Why hast thou done so? and he also was a very goodly man; and his mother bare him after Avshalom.
For I have told him that I will judge his house for ever for the iniquity which he knoweth; because his sons made themselves vile, and he restrained them not.
But in all Yisrael there was none to be so much praised as Avshalom for his beauty: from the sole of his foot even to the crown of his head there was no blemish in him.
And he had a son, whose name was Saul, a choice young man, and a goodly: and there was not among the children of Yisrael a goodlier person than he: from his shoulders and upward he was higher than any of the people.
