Romans 15:7

Christ accepted you, so you should accept each other. This will bring honor to God.

“Whoever accepts you also accepts me. And whoever accepts me accepts the one who sent me.

“I give you a new command: Love each other. You must love each other just as I loved you.

Through our faith, Christ has brought us into that blessing of God’s grace that we now enjoy. And we are very happy because of the hope we have of sharing God’s glory.

I pray that God will open your minds to see his truth. Then you will know the hope that he has chosen us to have. You will know that the blessings God has promised his holy people are rich and glorious.

Then he said to the followers, “Whoever accepts a little child like this in my name is accepting me. And anyone who accepts me is also accepting the one who sent me. The one among you who is the most humble—this is the one who is great.”

“Whoever accepts children like these in my name is accepting me. And anyone who accepts me is also accepting the one who sent me.”

Then the Pharisees and the teachers of the law began to complain, “Look, this man welcomes sinners and even eats with them!”

We Jews were the first to hope in Christ. And we were chosen so that we would bring praise to God in all his glory.

Christ also did this so that the non-Jewish people could praise God for the mercy he gives to them. The Scriptures say, “So I will give thanks to you among the people of other nations; I will sing praise to your name.” Psalm 18:49

The Father gives me my people. Every one of them will come to me. I will always accept them.

Don’t be angry with each other, but forgive each other. If you feel someone has wronged you, forgive them. Forgive others because the Lord forgave you.
