God, don’t leave me! My God, hurry and help me!

Lord, surely you can see what is happening. So don’t keep quiet. Lord, don’t leave me.

I am only a poor, helpless man. God, please hurry to me. You are my helper, the one who can save me. Lord, don’t be too late!

So don’t leave me! Trouble is near, and there is no one to help me.

Lord, why do you stay so far away? Why do you hide from people in times of trouble?

Hurry and answer me, Lord! I have lost my courage. Don’t turn away from me. Don’t let me die and become like the people lying in the grave.

Come save my soul. Rescue me from my enemies.

Please, Lord, rescue me! Lord, hurry and help me!
