The Lord is in his holy temple. The Lord sits on his throne in heaven. He sees everything that happens. He watches people closely.

So he came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth is given to me.

People on earth are not really important. God does what he wants with the powers of heaven and the people on earth. No one can stop his powerful hand or question what he does.

Lord, don’t let the wicked have what they want. Don’t let their plans succeed. Selah

The Lord looked down from heaven and saw all the people.

The eyes of the Lord go around looking in all the earth for people who are faithful to him so that he can make them strong. Asa, you did a foolish thing. So from now on you will have wars.”

Don’t let us be tempted, but save us from the Evil One.’

God says there is one thing you can really depend on, and I believe it: “Strength comes from God!”

God is so wise and powerful that no one could oppose him and survive.

Your kingdom will never end, and you will rule forever. The Lord can be trusted in all that he says. He is loyal in all that he does.

There is no power on earth that can make a person important.

Then at the end of that time, I, Nebuchadnezzar, looked up toward heaven, and I was in my right mind again. Then I gave praise to God Most High. I gave honor and glory to him who lives forever. God rules forever! His kingdom continues for all generations.
